Dr Kush graduated from Peninsula Medical and Dental University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He has a keen interest in minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry where he continues to invest in training with world renown clinicians in areas such as smile makeovers, tooth whitening, composite bonding and Invisalign (clear braces). Through his continuing education with the prestigious Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, at the Royal College of Surgeons, London; he always aims to provide his patients with the most up-to-date treatments. He is soon to be completing his Diploma in Restorative Dentistry. Recently, he has attended an Invisalign Summit in Berlin 2019, where he has had a chance to learn from top international leading experts in Invisalign and Digital Smile Design.

Dental care can have an immensely positive impact on an individual, for Kush the true reward is seeing the confidence and happiness he can instil his patients’ new beautiful and healthy smiles. He has shared his knowledge at the Prestigious Kings College London, teaching the final students to gain healthy smiles through minimally invasive treatment. Here has also graduated with a Bachelors in Pharmacology and Masters in Neuroscience, completing his dissertation in recognising the prodromal signs of Mental Health.

Kush believes that dentistry is highly personal. He will really take his time to listen and get to know his patients, he will weigh up every option and solution before you to make a choice that needs your wants and needs.

He is incredibly passionate about his patients and his work. His aim is to make dental treatment a positive experience for his patients, putting their comfort at the forefront of his care. He pays attention to even the smallest details in his work, always taking a minimally invasive approach in order to achieve the results that his patients love.

Outside of work, Kush enjoys spending time with his Wife and Daughter- going travelling.

Vish graduated with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 2010. He gained further experience and knowledge by working as a senior resident in a multi-speciality hospital for 2 years post-graduation. He has since been developing his clinical and interpersonal skills from working in dental practices. He has a very caring and gentle approach to Dentistry, and believes that Dentistry is not only about treating patient’s teeth it is also about caring for one’s general wellbeing and respecting the individuality of each person, therefore a lot of nervous patients feel very comfortable having him as their dentist.

Vish has successfully completed a year-long Advanced Dental Implant course with DENTALE in 2015. He has also attended the University of Bern to gain knowledge and experience from its prestigious research and clinical faculty (Dr. Daniel Buser and Dr. Urs Belser). Vish’s passion for Clinical Dental Implantology grew along with his experience, in his realization of the complexity of the procedure led him to enrol in a formal masters program at the University of Bristol. He has since completed his Certification in 2019 and Diploma in 2020.

He is also a member of the largest community of dentists in the field of dental implantology in the world, International Team of Implantology (ITI). He is also an ITI academy member from which he is continuously learning by attending local study clubs and discussing with his international peer to ensure he can treat his patient safely with the latest research and guidelines. Vish strongly believes in self-value and is determined to learn to be able to help patients and fellow colleagues.

Vish offers a full range of General, Cosmetic and Implant treatment with the highest quality of dental care and aftercare to make the whole process as comfortable as possible. Out of work hours, he likes to keep fit and has a strong interest in nutrition and bodyweight exercise. He likes to workout at the gym, loves swimming and keeps up to date with the latest advancements in the field of Blockchain Technology. He is married with two lovely daughters.

Juliet Henderson was born in Trinidad, reflected in her sunny yet calming manner. She qualified from Kings College, London, in 1996 and spent many years in mainly private practice before joining us in October 2012. She is an Invisalign Provider and particularly enjoys making CEREC same-day crowns.

She enjoys treating patients of all ages and cultures and places great emphasis on the meticulous quality of her work, conservation of teeth and the maintenance of good overall oral health. She has a reputation for her ability to calm nervous and anxious patients, being devoted to their welfare. Juliet is married, with a wonderful teenage daughter. She loves people, life and music and has been reported by patients to soothingly hum as she works.

Dr Vikas Acharya (BMBS MA MRCS MRCS(ENT) FHEA MAcadMEd MFSTEd) is a London based ENT Surgery doctor with a special interest in Facial Plastics and Aesthetics.

Dr Vikas undertook his medical training at the Peninsula Medical School, University of Exeter. Since then he has had formal postgraduate surgical training in various aesthetically focused surgical specialities including ENT Surgery, Facial Plastics, General Surgery and Neurosurgery. He has a Postgraduate Masters and has obtained his MRCS examination, qualifying him a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (England). Dr Acharya has undertaken formal courses and qualifications in Aesthetic Medicine and has a special interest in Facial Aesthetics, Scar Reduction, Hyperhidrosis, Medical Education and Healthcare Training. He is GMC registered, fully insured and continually attends courses and workshops to provide optimum care.

Throughout his career he has treated over 5,000 patients and having formal surgical training enables him to be able to competently advise on and undertake a wide range of aesthetic procedures. His experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques reduces pain during and after procedures, whilst enhancing natural features. All members of our aesthetic team are hand-picked and further trained by Dr Vikas to ensure they share the same ethos and client-centred focus, it is paramount to him that you receive the best care and service available alongside aesthetic satisfaction.

Afshan has worked in dental practice since 2004 and qualified from the Eastman Dental Hospital as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. Afshan has a caring and patient manner and enjoys treating a wide range of individuals and has a special interest in treating anxious patients. Afshan is married with a young daughter, who keeps her very busy. In her spare time, she is a keen baker.

Philly qualified from the University of Essex in 2018 where she gained a degree in Oral Health Science at distinction level. Philly previously worked as a dental nurse here at the practice for 5 years prior to qualifying. Being a dental hygienist is her dream career. Philly has a special interest in treating nervous patients and changing the perceived fear of dental treatment. In her spare time, she enjoys socialising with friends and family.

Maria is an experienced dental nurse at Watford Smiles. Maria is extremely knowledgeable dental nurse. She enjoys working with all staff at Watford Smiles and helping other team members with training to further their careers. She creates a warm, calm and professional environment.
